anime freak , but not czech speaker

I saw some people in cosplay (2 akatsuki members) this morning in the Prague's metro , since I never heard much about anime in CZ , I've been wondering if something is going on those day , .. and I found this website :-)

What's exactly the purpose of the event ?

As you see, we had a little anime convention going on here in Prague,
sadly enough, it´s already over, but that would have been the reason
for the Akatsuki cosplayers running around...
